Trench of Death
The Trench of Death in Diksmuide is a historic trench complex from World War I. It is one of the few remaining front lines of the Belgian army and offers visitors a poignant insight into the harsh life of soldiers during the war. The complex is now an open-air museum where you can walk through the trenches and learn more about the history and horrors of the war.
