A century back

When you walk through the ‘Concession’ in De Haan Centrum you quickly get the feeling that you have gone back in time. Almost all buildings date from the Belle-Epoque period. King Leopold II was personally involved in the construction of the seaside resort. The buildings each have their own history, such as the house where Albert Einstein hid shortly before World War II.
